Inselblick in Neustadt am Rubenberge

Very disappointed! We went to the Inselblick to eat in the summer as we were on vacation in Mardorf. It was a wasp plague which was also known, but unfortunately they didn't want to help us here. After asking several times whether they could give us some coffee powder or something like that, I came up with: It just stinks and doesn't work, ok but as a restaurant manager I can say from experience that it works and you have to come up with something, regardless of whether it is a champagne bottle where there is some champagne is inside, or wasps hanging up traps! Many people are allergic to the bites and you can risk your lives with such an action! The service itself was okay. Of course, because of my job, I see it differently than my friend, for example. Food was ok I hope something will change here regarding wasps for the next summer!

Nice place with a great view of the Steinhuder Meer. The farmer's schnitzel was good overall, the potato wedges a little baked. Therefore only 4 stars. Price / performance is good. The service is super friendly. Great. It's rare today. It gets 6 stars 👍

I'm sorry, but I can't give more than one star. First of all the positive: the restaurant operators are super friendly ... But the food just isn't tasty anymore. When it opened three years ago, the quality of the food was very good. But currently it tastes like everything on the plate was finished products. The feeling was that only the lettuce itself was cut. I will definitely not eat there again.

The name "Inselblick" should not be taken literally, because Wilhelmstein Island is almost out of sight. Everything else is right: the quality of the food (delicious apple pie with cream) and above all the prices. It is even possible to pay by card, a rarity in the restaurants at Steinhuder Meer.

It was a shame that two people were sent away again on a Sunday evening at 7.30 p.m., even though three tables were not occupied. No reservation, no food. The kitchen was busy, but we could stay for a drink, they said. No thanks, if you don't need it during this time and can dump guests in such a cool way, you won't get our money. Shame ... very disappointing. Incidentally, one would only have the "island view" if the trees that block the view of the water were cut.

The food was only standard goods that you get in every french fries. It took a long time until we got something. The water view was still very nice and the staff is competent and friendly. 3 stars!

Very good taste, clean and friendly staff. The said island could not be seen, but a view of the water is not promised too much. Relatively long waiting times, which was well worth it.

Don't let its smallness fool you. Amazing service and good food near the shore of the lake. Take a relaxing walk after eating to have an awesome afternoon. It's a YES from me.
